CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH PICNIC is today, at Vincent Massey Park (Section J). St. Peter’s will worship at 10 a.m. at St. Peter’s Church and the park. The Service at the park followed by the picnic will be held jointly with Resurrection Lutheran congregation. Please bring a salad or dessert to share, as well as your own plates, utensils, hot and cold drinks, and lawn chairs. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided.

BISHOP MUNIB YOUNAN of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Holy Land, will speak at St. Peter’s, Monday, June 22, at a public meeting 7:30-9:00 p.m. on the challenges and the necessity of building peace in a Land called Holy by three great faiths. He is a guest of the ELCIC and will be hosted by Dr. David Pfrimmer, Waterloo Lutheran Seminary.
